The Opportunity: HR Business Partner

Job SummaryIron Mountain is seeking a highly skilled and specialized HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR solutions aligned with business strategy, specifically focusing on organizational efficiencies and restructuring to drive revenue optimization. You will serve as a key partner to senior management, driving the execution of the employee lifecycle in collaboration with our Center of Excellence (COE) specialists.
Our HRBP team is a group of dedicated consultants who act as the bridge between business objectives and people strategy, ensuring our leaders have the talent and structures needed to succeed.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Serve as a Trusted Advisor to Leadership: Act as a consultant to Vice Presidents, Directors and Senior Managers by providing data-driven insights on complex organizational challenges and designing operating models that align with business goals.
Drive High-Impact Business and Talent Outcomes: Lead the performance management lifecycle and coach senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, change management, and succession planning to build business strength and minimize business continuity risks.
Execute Strategic Functional HR Projects: Partner on cross-functional HR projects that impact the supported business units. Manage end-to-end organizational restructuring and workforce realignments, ensuring all initiatives comply with global regulations and Iron Mountain’s commitment to equity and inclusion. Partner with leadership and HR to execute workforce realignments, talent redeployment, change communication and implementation plans. Support employees through clear communication, change management, and compliance with legal and policy requirements.
Influence and Negotiate for Value-added Outcomes: Communicate difficult or sensitive concepts to senior stakeholders, translating complex HR data into actionable business insights. Influence decision-making, secure buy-in for HR initiatives, and successfully align differing points of view to achieve business goals.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
Substantial HR experience, including significant experience in a Business Partnering capacity within North American with the ability to scale into a global capacity.
Strong knowledge of organizational design and change management, with a proven ability to translate complex HR data into actionable business insights for senior stakeholders.
Proven ability in stakeholder management and collaboration, specifically in a matrixed environment where you partner across Center of Excellence (COE) disciplines to drive functional outcomes.
Experience in a large multinational organisation ideally with experience in a matrixed environment and with varied employee populations.
Adaptability to flex as it relates to change in strategy and support models.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Reasonably expected salary range: $107,500.00 - $143,300.00Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where State, Municipal, Provincial, Territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
