About the role.
The HR Business Partner, Generalist provides advisory support as it relates to leadership coaching, workforce and strategic talent planning, HR program development, and the implementation of HR initiatives as part of the broader McCain Strategic Plan. Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Business Partner is a trusted partner to business leaders, supporting overall people engagement and development activities.
What you'll be doing.
  • Provide partnership and consultation related to workforce and resource planning, performance management, change management delivery, and employee & labor relations
  • Partner with Regional OD teams to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of leadership and people development programs in market
  • Undertake the full range of recruitment, selection and appointment, supporting leaders with onboarding activities
  • Provide input to Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to define and implement forward-thinking workforce strategies and solutions to meet business and local environment needs
  • Support regional implementation of CoE-driven processes, policies and initiatives
  • Gather requirements to help with the development of HR programs, processes, and policies for a specific business unit based on local business needs
  • Refer employees to the Employee Experience Centre (EEC) or the appropriate service channel to resolve inquiries / transaction requests and provides self-service coaching, as appropriate

  • Talent Management - Succession coverage; Retention of HiPo/HiPro; Diversity
  • Organizational Development - development plans in SuccessFactors; client requirement fulfillment
  • Employee engagement

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders to drive business success
  • Experience in the development and effective delivery/facilitation of training programs to achieved specified learning outcomes
  • Ability to apply HR knowledge/experience across all HR policies, programs, processes, and functions
  • An ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organisation to improve culture and drive change
  • Strong internal consulting skills, with working ability to influence change
  • Ability to translate global business requirements into workable local solutions
