As a strategic partner within the Commercial business, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) empowers leaders to deliver strong business results through skilled people leadership and the development of an engaged, high-performing workforce. This role partners closely with leaders across Commercial Sales, Marketing, and Finance, championing organisational capability and the Winning Culture in Australia and New Zealand.

What you'll be doing.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Commercial leaders, contributing to strategy, decision-making, and business outcomes.
  • Align people strategies with business objectives, ensuring optimal workforce capability and structure.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, strengthening their leadership capability and confidence.
  • Model and reinforce McCain's Leadership Principles, promoting inclusive and values-led leadership behaviours.
  • Provide expert guidance in workforce planning, succession, performance management, rewards, DEI, and change management.
  • Lead and embed people processes in line with corporate strategy and Commercial priorities.
  • Use data and insights to identify risks and opportunities, translating them into actionable HR solutions.
  • Support and lead organizational change, employee engagement initiatives, and manage escalated employee relations matters.

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Minimum five years' experience in a Human Resources Business Partner or equivalent role.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Proven ability to support leaders and teams across multiple locations and jurisdictions.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect people outcomes with commercial performance.
  • Highly developed influencing, coaching, and stakeholder management skills at the senior leader level.
  • Expertise in employee relations, change management, and organizational transformation.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and leveraging insights for HR decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and digital HR environment skills; ability to consistently model McCain's Leadership Principles.

About the team .
The HR Business Partner reports directly to the Director, Human Resources ANZ and sits within the ANZ HR division. You will work collaboratively with Centre of Expertise and the Employee Experience Centre, leading and supporting Commercial business functions. The team is dynamic, highly collaborative, and focused on delivering high-quality people solutions that drive our business and culture forward.
