Contract type: Part-time - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (0.6 FTE)

We are seeking a skilled and strategic HR Business Partner (People Business Partner) to join our team.

In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving people-centric initiatives that align with our organisational goals and foster a positive work environment.

You'll be based from our Crewe head office site. It is a fully office based role, working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday alongside your colleagues in the People Department.

What you'll be doing...

  • Partnering with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
  • Providing guidance on employee performance management, remuneration and talent development
  • Leading change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
  • Analysing HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend actionable insights
  • Developing and delivering training programmes to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities
  • Collaborating with the HR team to improve policies, processes, and employee experience
  • Acting as a coach and mentor to managers, supporting their growth and effectiveness
  • Ensuring compliance with UK employment laws and regulations
  • Driving employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive organisational culture

What we're looking for...

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • CIPD qualification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR or a related field, with a focus on business partnering
  • Proven track record of partnering with senior leadership and implementing successful HR initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools
  • Expertise in change management and performance management
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience in talent management and organisational development
  • Ability to influence and drive results in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
