About the job

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join Business Unit Marine Solutions in Alfa Laval’s Ocean Division.

Business Unit Marine Solutions serves the global marine industry with solutions that support vessel performance, efficiency, reliability and sustainability. The business operates in a global and technology-driven market, where customer value, innovation and operational excellence are key.

Marine Solutions plays an important role in helping customers improve vessel performance and meet increasing demands for more sustainable and efficient shipping.

In this role, you will support the management teams in Vessel Infrastructure & Efficiency and Vessel Operations. Your focus will be to drive organizational, leadership and competence development, and to help the business stay competitive and attractive from a people perspective.

You will work close to the business, translating business priorities into relevant people plans and supporting leaders in building the organization, culture and capabilities needed for the future. The role combines strategic HR work with practical support and advice in a global marine environment.

Your key tasks

As HR Business Partner, you will:

Act as a strategic and credible partner

  • Translate business plans into people plans
  • Drive the business and people agenda with management teams
  • Lead organizational transformation and capability development.

Be a trusted advisor

  • Coach and support managers on organizational effectiveness
  • Drive change, performance and talent management
  • Strengthen data-driven decision-making.

Cultivate culture and leadership

  • Advocate for and drive the Alfa Laval culture
  • Enhance employee engagement and experience
  • Build leadership pipelines aligned with future needs.

Represent One HR

  • Leverage the HR operating model
  • Act as a bridge between the business and the HR community
  • Ensure legal and local compliance.

Who you are

You are a business-oriented and proactive HR professional who builds trust with leaders. You understand how HR can contribute to business results and you are comfortable both supporting and challenging managers.

You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and enjoy working close to the business. You can create clarity in complex situations and turn business needs into relevant people priorities.

You are used to working in a global matrix environment and collaborate well across functions, cultures and geographies. You bring a structured, data-informed and people-focused approach, and you are confident in coaching senior stakeholders and facilitating dialogue.
