Key responsibilities
As a Location HR Business Partner(m/w/d) for our HUB Smart Power Germany at the Heidelberg manufacturing site, you will ensure that we are excellently positioned in terms of human resources topics. Specifically, you will guide and support leaders in the Local and Global Product Group as well supporting the global Agile Unit Managers and employees on the issue of employee leadership and in relation to matters of employment law. You will drive the HR strategy for your area of responsibility and will have the confidence to deliver business projects at a local level. You will be mainly accountable for:
Working closely with leaders to understand business drivers and implement HR priorities in the organization in line with the manufacturing unit, global division and people strategy while orchestrating the HR organization to support and deliver on the defined priorities.
Pursuing an inclusive working culture, collaborating with employees and leaders and utilizing the existing HR solution portfolio or ensuring to provide new solutions where appropriate.
Supporting People & Culture strategy initiatives: passion, diversity & inclusion, outside in thinking and acting, trust and empowerment; building a healthy & inspiring workplace.
Ensuring development actions are in place to support business strategy and support business leaders by implementing the development activities.
Partnering with leaders and employees to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies. Counsel leaders and employees on the most effective solutions to resolve issues. Act as consultant, sparring partner, coach, and facilitator.
Responsible for all people related measures from hire to retire, compensation, labor law & collective agreements, talent management, HR systems & tools, wellbeing & occupational health, global mobility, in partnership with other HR experts locally and globally.

Qualifications for the role
A Master’s or bachelor degree in a relevant field related to Human Resources
At least 2 years’ proven track record in an HR Business Partner role, preferably in a global & multidimensional organization.
Broad HR functional knowledge.
Strategic mindset and passion to drive results through people.
Business-oriented and dynamic approach in managing HR topics.
Capability to communicate openly, understand different perspectives and find common ground.
Can-do attitude, problem solving and strong drive for delivering results
Cultural sensitivity
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and German
