About the opportunity
You will act as a trusted HR partner supporting the Product Portfolio & Innovation (P&I) organization, with a primary focus on Germany, but also partnering with international stakeholders.
Drive the effective execution of HR processes, ensure compliance with German employment law, and align local practices with global HR standards.
Work closely with leaders, employees, and global HR teams to deliver a high-quality employee experience while balancing operational excellence with proactive business support.
Your tasks include
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and practices
- Support organizational changes in Germany, including restructures, role changes, and workforce adjustments in compliance with local requirements
- Act as the local HR interface for global initiatives impacting the P&I population in Germany
- Collaborate with Head of HR DACH on Workers Council topics, preparing documentation and supporting consultations
- Contribute to effective employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, performance processes, and employee relations topics
- Advise managers on absence management, parental leave, and employee-related matters
- Partner with HR Shared Services and payroll to ensure smooth and accurate HR operations
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven HR partner experience within international and matrix organizations
- Strong knowledge of German employment law and co-determination, including experience working with Workers Councils
- Experience advising managers on organizational design, performance management, and employee relations
- Strong communication skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus
- Hands-on, proactive mindset with the ability to balance corporate frameworks and local solutions
- Experience with Workday or similar HR systems is an advantage
