Job Overview
The HR Associate will be responsible for end-to-end timekeeping and attendance management. This role supports payroll processing, including ensuring the accuracy of employee records and documentation, employee clearance, and final pay processing for separated employees, while providing support to employee’s requests/inquiries.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end timekeeping and monitors attendance through the timekeeping system.
- Ensures the accuracy of attendance records for payroll purposes.
- Track and monitor employee leave credits and usage.
- Prepares attendance reports for approval.
- Assists with payroll processing, including clearance and final pay processing for separated employees.
- Support monthly and yearly reporting including annualization and BIR 2316 distribution.
- Gather and maintain complete employee documentation such as contracts, JDs, government ID’s, loan information and bank details.
- Assist auditors by providing required support documentation.
- Resolves discrepancies in payroll, attendance records, employee information or documentation.
- Provide employee support by ensuring a timely response to inquiries.
- Actively participate in People and culture programs, projects, and activities.
- Other responsibilities and duties as defined from time to time.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Knowledgeable in using HRIS and timekeeping software, proficient in excel and other formulas, Microsoft office etc.
Behavioral Skills
- High attention to detail, strict data confidentiality, and strong numerical skills.
Work Experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in processing timekeeping and a background in payroll or HR general operations is a plus.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
