The HR Intern is exposed to the different facets of Human Resources and focuses on the different processes and providing support to the Payroll and People Operations Administration team. The role primarily involves timekeeping, employee Relations, employee onboarding, and employee offboarding.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll Timekeeping
- Assists in monitoring and reviewing employee time and attendance records.
- Review and support the preparation of timekeeping reports for payroll processing.
- Assists in updating trackers
- Assists the Finance Associate/s in tasks regarding Employee Movement
- Records the minutes of the meeting on Exit Interviews
- Writes the Exit Review Report
a. Policies & Procedures Writing
- Conducts research and study of documents and procedures to assist in drafting memoranda and policies
- Drafts assigned memos, guidelines, and policies
- Creates or revamps trackers, document templates, and filing systems, and prepares corresponding guidelines
- Maintains accurate employee-related files
- Assists the team in other clerical/administrative tasks
- Generate reports, assists and performs other official work as instructed by the VP Finance and People Administration
