We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated and experienced HR Administrator to our team based out of our San Pedro Sula office.

The HR Administrator will need to act as the first point of contact for employees to review general inquiries. Will need to ensure that best practice are followed, and need to compile and prepare various reports of the area.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in delivery of various functional and cross-functional initiatives such as Performance Management, Compensation, Engagement Survey and the Performance Review, etc.
  • Takes care of administrative items associated with employee transactions – preparing draft offer letters, initiate background, and reference checks, administer leaves of absence, process new hire details into HRIS and payroll, submits offboarding requests, and other HR information updates as needed.
  • Coordinates with new employees and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding/offboarding process and positive employee experience.
  • Ensure best practices are followed by staying current with labor/ employment legislation and HR industry developments. Drive health/safety best practices.
Requirements
  • Human Resources Degree or equivalent.
  • Full understanding and practical experience in all HR functions
  • Workday system experience is ideal.
  • 3-4 years’ proven work experience as a trusted HR advisor and HR Generalist
  • Solid knowledge of the relevant policies, labor law, employment standards and other regulatory requirements as well as the provisions of the collective agreement
  • Practices continuous learning by keeping abreast of human resources knowledge.
