Position Overview:
As an HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the HR department in managing day-to-day HR activities. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and employee engagement. This is an on-site position based in Serbia, where you will work closely with both local and global HR teams to ensure the efficient functioning of HR processes.
PLEASE NOTE: this position is offered on a 2-year contract basis as a maternity leave replacement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed, and new employees are effectively integrated into the company culture.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries.
- Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and best practices to employees and managers.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a fair and professional manner.
- HR Administration & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Office manager duties.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and best HR practices.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports as required by management.
- Performance Management:
- Assist with the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers on performance management issues.
- Support the development and implementation of employee training and development programs.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Support the payroll process by gathering necessary data and ensuring accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 year of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of Serbian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in both Serbian and English (verbal and written).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HR software and HRIS systems.
