What you’ll be doing
- Support the FP&A data model: Help design and maintain scalable data models that serve as a reliable source of truth for Global P&L and FP&A reporting.
- Bridge Finance and Data: Work closely with FP&A stakeholders and the Data team to understand business needs and translate them into analytical datasets.
- Build and maintain data transformations: Develop and maintain data models using dbt and Redshift SQL to enable accurate financial analysis.
- Deliver analytical datasets: Design and implement datasets that support planning, forecasting, and financial decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Partner with Finance Managers, Analysts, and Data Engineers to validate data, improve pipelines, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Ensure data quality: Apply testing and documentation best practices to maintain trust and transparency in financial data.
- Continuously improve: Contribute to improving existing data processes and working practices within the Analytics Engineering team.
Who we’re looking for
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or technical roles close to Finance or Analytics.
- Strong SQL & dbt skills: Solid experience using SQL (any dialect) and dbt to build and maintain analytical data models.
- Data integration exposure: Experience working with data from multiple sources and helping consolidate it into consistent, well-structured datasets.
- Analytical mindset: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to investigate data issues and understand underlying business logic.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Comfortable working with Finance and Data stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Curious and proactive: A learning-oriented mindset, eager to improve data quality, processes, and personal technical skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics, or similar).
