As a Houseman at Holiday Inn Express - Wilmington Medical District, you’ll help keep our hotel clean, organized, and running smoothly while supporting both guests and the housekeeping team. Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms
- Keep common areas clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
- Assist guests with requests in a friendly and professional manner
- Support the housekeeping team with restocking, moving items, and special projects
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow hotel safety and cleanliness standards
- Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Requirements
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift, move, and carry supplies or equipment as needed
- Flexible and able to handle a variety of tasks throughout the shift
- Previous hotel or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required
