A private family in River Oaks, Houston is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and hands-on Household Manager to oversee the daily operations of a large private residence and support an upcoming household relocation. The ideal candidate will be experienced in vendor and household management, comfortable handling organizational projects, and capable of managing a wide range of household and estate-related responsibilities with professionalism and discretion. This is a live-out position with no childcare responsibilities.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations and organization of a private estate
Manage household vendors, contractors, and service providers
Coordinate and supervise household staff
Assist with a major household move, including decluttering, organizing, and home setup
Manage post-construction punch list items and vendor follow-up in the new residence
Track household maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs/services
Oversee vehicle management for multiple family vehicles, including maintenance scheduling, inspections, and service coordination
Coordinate errands, package returns, dry cleaning, and household logistics
Organize closets, storage areas, household inventory, and filing systems
Assist with household technology coordination and administrative organization
Perform light household upkeep and basic household maintenance tasks as needed
Create and maintain organized household systems and manuals
Strong organizational and project management skills
Tech-savvy with the ability to coordinate household systems and digital organization
Professional, discreet, and detail-oriented
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Local knowledge of the Houston area strongly preferred
Flexible, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
