Lyreco UK & Ireland is looking for a proactive In-House Legal Advisor to provide pragmatic, risk-based commercial legal support. This is a hands-on role where you’ll influence decision-making, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance in a fast-paced B2B environment. You’ll work closely with our Group Legal team in France and external advisors to protect and grow the business.
What You’ll Do
- Draft, review & negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (customer, supplier, NDAs, data protection, service agreements, supply chain & property leases)
- Advise operational teams on risk, governance & contract delivery to maximise revenue and minimise risk
- Support corporate governance, including Board & general assembly documentation
- Work with external legal and Company Secretarial firms to maintain statutory compliance
- Provide legal guidance on tender/bid processes, project agreements, and joint ventures
- Keep the business up to date on industry legal developments and deliver ad hoc legal training
- Maintain a central contracts database and share legal know-how across the business
Who You Are
- Legally qualified (LLB or equivalent; CILEX / Solicitor preferred) with commercial law experience
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation & risk awareness
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded, autonomous, and proactive
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Team player who collaborates across functions while knowing when to escalate
