Position Overview

Surya Inc. is looking for a Sales Specialist to join our growing sales team.

This is an opportunity to build a career in sales, design, and hospitality while working with architects, designers, procurement firms, hotel groups, and management companies. You’ll build customer relationships, develop new business, provide product solutions, and help customers bring their projects to life.

This is a relationship-driven sales role that combines customer development, product expertise, business development, and customer service. We will provide the training and resources to help you succeed. You will make daily outreach to both new and existing clients via phone and email to generate sales and grow customer relationships

What You’ll Do:

• Build and grow relationships with existing hospitality customers.
• Develop new business through phone, email, and other outreach.
• Understand customer needs and recommend products and solutions.
• Become knowledgeable across Surya Inc.’s brands and product categories.
• Follow up on leads, quotes, projects, and sales opportunities.
• Work closely with our field sales and Hospitality/Contract teams.
• Maintain customer and sales activity in Salesforce.
• Attend up to two industry trade shows per year.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of sales, customer service, design, retail, hospitality, or related experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and developing new business.
• Motivated, organized, persistent, and eager to learn.
• Interest in design, furniture, interiors, or hospitality.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365; Salesforce experience is a plus.
