Amentum is actively seeking a Field Engineer for International Fleet Support of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical equipment under the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PMS 326 Follow-On Technical Support (FOTS) contract. The work location will be at the Egyptian Naval Base in the port of Alexandria, Egypt. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
Essential responsibilities and daily duties include:

Provide hands-on subject matter expertise in mechanical construction, equipment operation, maintenance and repair for Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) equipment associated with the Ezzat Class Fast Missile Craft (FMC) of the Egyptian Navy.

Broad-based HM&E technician able to conduct hands-on training and assistance as requested by the Egyptian Navy.

Provide technical oversight, troubleshooting assistance and recommendations for cost effective maintenance and overhaul actions associated with propulsion plant and auxiliary systems.

Participate as a member of the Amentum Technical Assistance Team (TAT) in close coordination with the TAT Manager.

Collaborate with the Amentum In-Country Team, FMC Port Engineer, and the Egyptian Navy to provide timely and efficient HM&E support for FMC vessels.

Collaborate with the shipyard planning office and the designated HM&E planner to facilitate FMC workload planning activities.

Serve as a technical advisor/consultant for FMC HM&E planning and workload execution support efforts.

Provide timely and comprehensive inputs for the Monthly Status Report.
Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or GED

6 years of operation, maintenance and repair experience with HM&E systems and equipment on naval vessels.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Must have good communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
Preferred Qualifications
