Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are currently seeking overnight Histotechnologists or Histotechnicians to join our Histology team!
Role Overview:
Section paraffin and frozen tissue specimens as requested.
Basic histology techniques (e.g. embed, microtomy, process tissue).
Analyze and troubleshoot equipment-related issues
Maintains vital quality control and assurance records
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field with knowledge of Biology, Chemistry
NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Technician, or Certified Histology Technician license preferred. Eligibility to obtain NYS license required
Core Skills:
Ability to perform dilutions and laboratory calculations
Excellent organizational skills
Strong digital literacy including working with databases
Problem solver, who can manage complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
Good decision maker, with proven success of making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.

Additional Information:
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 1 AM to 9:00 AM, 100% onsite
Location: Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY.
Reporting to: Histology Supervisor
10% differential for overnight schedule
