We are looking for a detail-oriented Engineer – QA/QC with experience in construction quality assurance and quality control. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards, and maintaining quality documentation.
- Conduct quality inspections of materials and civil works.
- Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and inspection plans.
- Identify quality deviations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform root cause analysis for quality-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, and QA/QC documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support internal/external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor adherence to relevant quality and safety standards.
- Assist in continuous improvement of quality processes.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC within the Construction / Civil Engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection, QA/QC processes, and construction standards.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Experience in preparing inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Skills Required
- B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 3-5 years of QA/QC experience in the construction or civil engineering industry
