Owns the data governance strategy and operational framework across organizational units. Establishes policies, standards, controls, and data definitions; drives data standardization, quality, lifecycle management, lineage, and access governance. Advises stakeholders on data use, resolves data issues, supports business requirements, maintains governance documentation, and trains employees on domain data and operational impacts. Requires IT, management, data-domain, data analysis, data operating model, TOGAF, and DAMA knowledge.

Data Governance Manager are responsible for Responsible and drive formulation of policies, directives, guidelines for data Governance and control. Owner of Data-Governance strategy framework. Drive and responsible for operationalization of Data-governance framework across units in MSN(CU/SLOP/SDAP). Reporting and communicate regularly to management on Data Governance. Innovative in the offensive application & defensive controls in the use of data! Standardization and constant evolution of data governance framework data in a data domain and ensure that data is managed according to policies and standards. They have the appropriate capabilities and skills to access the data together with the tools required to manage and audit access. Enforces data governance policies and procedures, ensures reliable data quality as well as supports education for employees in data governance
The job is published across India, Hungary and Romania, final location will be decided after selection.
What you will do• Sets the strategic direction for the data governance.• Leads data standardization, drives domain data standardization and system alignment and improvements for the relevant data domain• Acts as a data Leader to set the strategic direction.• Support business processes (use cases) and resolves customer concern of data issues• Develops data expertise within a data-domain to ensure data is accurately defined and used across organization• Plans and design future data availability within data domain expertise• Proposes and leads any change in existing data or acquire new data to meet business requirements.• Provides information to internal stakeholders on data lifecycle within their domain expertise (from collection till decommission) and how this data can support business objectives, including the use-of technology to facilitate this.• Trains business stakeholders on the content and definition of domain data fields and the impact on their operational processes• Creates and maintains the documentation of the domain data definitions and domain data use
