As a High School School Clinician at Pinnacle School, you will provide individualized support, build strong partnerships with families and colleagues, and empower students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a relationship-centered learning environment.

What You'll Need

  • Doctorate or Master's degree in School Psychology, School Social Work, School Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field with appropriate Connecticut certification

  • At least 2 years of experience supporting children in a therapeutic or educational setting

  • Experience working with students in special education and familiarity with the IEP process and progress monitoring

  • Knowledge of executive functioning coaching, social skills development, CBT, DBT, and relationship-based therapeutic approaches

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and family partnership skills with a passion for helping every student reach their full potential

What You'll Do

  • Provide individual and small group counseling that supports students' social, emotional, and behavioral growth

  • Partner with teachers, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized student support plans

  • Conduct psychological assessments, monitor student progress, and contribute to IEP development and review meetings
