Position Summary

The High-End Landscape Architect/Designer will serve as the face of the Company in Phoenix, leading client engagements, developing design proposals, and driving sales. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional design acumen, and the ability to nurture and convert both requested and general marketing leads into profitable projects. The ideal candidate blends architectural expertise, strategic sales skills, and a professional, level-headed approach to client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage client engagements as the primary point of contact, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.

• Develop and present innovative landscape design concepts and proposals aligned with client visions and project scopes.

• Generate and qualify leads provided by the company, including requested leads and general marketing inquiries.

• Create accurate proposals and pricing models to meet project requirements while maintaining gross profit margins.

• Drive sales to achieve annual revenue targets and leveraging a consultative sales approach to secure new business.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution from concept through completion, monitoring budgets and timelines.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of architectural principles, design trends, and sustainable practices to provide value-driven solutions.

• Represent the company professionally in all client interactions, maintaining a level-headed and articulate communication style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end residential design-build sales or similar roles

within the landscape industry.

• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a design sales capacity.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and high-end landscape concepts.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a professional, client-focused demeanor.

• Ability to lead client meetings, manage complex proposals, and maintain a consultative sales approach.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze project financials, maintain profitability, and deliver accurate proposals.

• Level-headed, articulate, and collaborative personality, with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
