We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HFM Administrator with expertise in SAP integration and advanced reporting capabilities to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal in managing Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (“HFM”), ensuring seamless financial consolidation, and delivering high-impact reporting solutions-including advanced reporting, custom reports, dynamic data forms and workflows associated with Workiva (Company’s SEC reporting tool). This position is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our global financial consolidation and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), strong knowledge of US GAAP, and a background in multinational corporate environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the HFM application, including metadata, rules, security and data loads.
- Ensure robust integration between HFM and SAP ERP systems including master data alignment and transactional data mapping.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues across HFM and SAP interfaces.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close cycles by ensuring timely and accurate consolidation of financial data across global entities.
- Reconcile and validate data between SAP and HFM to maintain reporting integrity.
- Develop and maintain custom reports using SmartView, HFM and Workiva to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
- Implement and manage automated footnotes and dynamic disclosures within Workiva to streamline financial reporting.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to resolve data issues and improve reporting quality.
- Assist in the preparation of external filings and internal management reports.
- Provide training and support to finance users on HFM functionality and best practices.
- Liaise with IT and external consultants on system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Enhance reporting automation through scripting, batch jobs, and integration with Workiva and SAP.
- Identify and Implement process improvements across consolidation, reporting and reconciliation workflows.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, reporting logic and integration workflows.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and SOX.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in administering Oracle HFM with SAP integration and Workiva reporting. ideally within a publicly traded multinational company.
- Proven expertise in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
- Strong understanding of Consolidations, US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Experience with global consolidation processes and intercompany eliminations.
- Hands on experience with:
- HFM metadata and rules
- SAP FI/CO or BW modules
- FDMEE and SmartView
- Data forms and custom report development
- Workiva Wdesk platform for automated reporting and footnote preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
