Job Description
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Wholesale energy supply department of Ignitis, where you’ll be responsible for working and assisting in systematizing and structuring business tools and processes and optimizing teamwork. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Learning and refining existing tools for financial trading and price forecasting;
- Acquiring knowledge of trading strategies, enhancing current strategies, and formulating new ones;
- Ensuring smooth collaboration with other departments by implementing operational tools;
- Conducting a comprehensive analysis of operations, optimizing and digitizing processes;
- Analyzing and documenting current processes in collaboration with process owners.
Qualifications
- Experience with MS Excel / VBA and basic understanding of Python (familiarity with packages: NumPy, Pandas);
- Good time management skills, results-driven orientation, critical and analytical thinking and the ability to systematize and summarize information;
- Excellent command of written and spoken Lithuanian and English languages.
Would be an advantage:
- University degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics or Econometrics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or a closely related field;
- Eagerness to learn new coding skills and energy market specifics.
