About this opportunity
We are looking for a Head of Value Engineering to lead Ericsson's Antenna Systems value engineering function. You'll drive meaningful cost innovation by translating smart design decisions into real savings for customers while maintaining our competitive edge in the RF hardware market. This is a strategic role where you'll shape how we approach cost and value across the entire antenna portfolio.
What you will do
  • Lead the value engineering strategy for antenna R&D, establishing best practices in product cost analytics and design-to-cost methodology
  • Act as centre of competence for cost analysis and design optimization, benchmarking against competition and internal capabilities
  • Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities across antenna product lines, analyzing design and supply costs to pinpoint gaps and their root causes
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Operations, Product Management, and external partners to develop, implement, and verify cost initiatives
  • Shape organizational capability by developing processes and strategies that sustain our competitive cost position long-term

The skills you bring
  • A Bachelor, Master's or University degree in telecommunications, engineering, technology, or an equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrated international experience and track record in driving cost reductions for services, products and/or solutions, always passionate to target the best value per cost
  • Background in product cost analysis or technical procurement / sourcing is a plus
  • Experience within the RF hardware industry with a sound understanding across the value chain
  • Design to supply knowledge and experience in one of the fields of mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, able to successfully interact on all levels up to senior/executive management
  • Highly analytical and methodical approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in English written and spoken
