In your role as Head of Transformation, you will be accountable for leading and executing large-scale transformation programs that accelerate impact and ensure the value realization of the APM Terminals transformation, including the successful delivery of our Strategy 2030. This role is a core driver within the COO leadership team, leading a team of specialists in the areas of transformation, change leadership, and project management.
What you will be accountable for:
- Leading and managing the entire APM Terminals transformation portfolio, driving alignment with strategic priorities and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Defining and enforcing clear objectives and performance targets, while establishing robust tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, ensure accountability, and enable timely course correction.
- Challenging and guiding APM management teams to evaluate potential programs based on business case potential and organizational capability.
- Championing and embedding Lean as a cultural and operational foundation across the organization, using it as a catalyst for continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency.
- Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and Lean, leveraging technology trends and opportunities.
- Establishing and scaling best-in-class project and change management frameworks, while upskilling teams to ensure consistent, high-quality execution across all functions and terminals.
- Working closely with global, regional, and terminal teams to drive unified execution and learning, promoting cross-functional collaboration and best practice sharing.
- Attracting, developing, and retaining talent, fostering an environment of open communication, learning, and development..
What We Are Looking For
- Significant experience leading a strategic Transformation team, in a global and matrix B2B or B2C organization with successful and ongoing change and transformation.
- Proven experience role modelling and driving Lean.
- Proficiency at managing teams and excels in growing and developing people.
- Skilled in leveraging customer insights and data to drive outcomes and achieve business results.
- Interest about industry changes, including technological and other trends
- Prior experience in transport, terminal or shipping is an advantage.
- Degree in business, strategy or related discipline is an advantage.
