The Head
of Training & HR Consultancy will lead the organization’s training,
capacity building and HR advisory services portfolio. The role is responsible
for designing innovative HR solutions, delivering high-impact training
programs, expanding consultancy services, driving revenue growth and
positioning the organization as the preferred HR partner for members.
Key Responsibilities
Training
Strategy & Implementation
- Develop and execute an annual training
strategy aligned to member needs
- Design industry-relevant training
curricula (HR, labour laws, compliance, leadership, mediation,
productivity, etc.)
- Develop an annual training calendar and
ensure implementation
- Lead regional and national training
programs
- Identify emerging trends and develop
responsive training solutions
- Evaluate training effectiveness and
impact
- Sourcing external trainers and creating
a pool of qualified resource persons
HR
Consultancy Services
- Provide expert HR advisory services to
member organizations
- Lead consultancy assignments including
HR audits, policy development, CBA negotiations support, performance
management systems, organizational restructuring, and compliance reviews
- Develop standardized HR toolkits and
templates for members
- Offer strategic labour relations
guidance
Recruitment
Services
· Offering recruitment support to members from
time to time as per the requirements of the members
Business
Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement a consultancy
revenue generation strategy
- Identify new business opportunities
within and outside membership
- Prepare proposals, concept notes, and
consultancy contracts
- Build partnerships with training
institutions and professional bodies
Stakeholder
Engagement
- Engage HR Directors, Farm Managers and
CEOs on emerging HR issues
- Represent the Organization in HR forums,
stakeholder meetings and industry events
- Strengthening collaboration with unions,
regulators and government agencies
- Responsible for PR & Communication
to all stakeholders
Budgeting
- Manage training budgets and HR consultancy
income targets
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource
Management, Business Administration or related field
- Certified HR professional (CHRP-K)
- Minimum 5–10 years progressive HR
experience
- Demonstrated experience in HR
consultancy and training facilitation
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws
and industrial relations
- Experience working within an
agricultural sector is an added advantage
