About the Role
We are on the search of a dynamic Head of Off Trade & Ecommerce for Spain, who will lead our daring growth plans in the Spanish market. The successful candidate will be instrumental in crafting and implementing strategic plans to elevate our brands within the FMCG sector, focusing on the off-trade & e-commerce channel.
Reporting directly to the Iberia Commercial Director, this role is pivotal in ensuring our brands not only thrive but dominate in the Spanish off-trade&digital landscape.
Role Dimensions:
Full P&L responsibility of the DIAGEO portfolio for the Off Trade & E-commerce channel in Spain.
Leadership and development of a senior sales team of NAMs & KAMs, encouraging a culture of excellence & innovation and growing his / her leadership beyond with the functions supporting the Channel (Customer MKT, Comm. Finance, RGM, Supply, HRBP).
Strategic formulation and execution of RTM strategies, ensuring efficient brand presence and performance.
Cross-functional collaboration to drive sales capability, innovation, and operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic Leadership: Drive the strategic agenda for Off Trade & E-commerce in Spain, ensuring alignment with Diageo’s global vision and local market dynamics, specially the on / off hybrid customers.
Team Excellence: Build, encourage, and lead an outstanding sales team; focus on talent development, performance management, and crafting a winning team culture.
Revenue Growth Management: Optimize product mix, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to drive revenue growth and profitability.
Market Execution: Ensure perfect execution in-store through our indirect execution team, ensuring product availability, visibility, and promotional efficiency to improve sales.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive alignment, innovation, and DIAGEO´s growth within TBA.
Financial Skill: Handle budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategies to achieve financial targets and improve ROI.
About You
Experience: A minimum of 8 years in commercial leadership roles within the FMCG sector, with a consistent track record in the off-trade channel.
Leadership: Inspirational leader with outstanding team-building and mentor skills.
Strategic Problem solver: Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities, with a keen eye for market opportunities and challenges.
Financial Savvy: Robust financial competence with experience leading P&Ls, budgeting, and forecasting.
Cross-Functional Agility: Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions to drive business performance.
Language: Native Spanish with proficient English.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
