Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Own the company's multi-year IT roadmap, aligning technology investments with enterprise priorities and sustainable growth
- Identify, prioritize, and personally drive the company's Tier 1 initiatives—the highest-impact, enterprise-critical projects, ensuring they are scoped, resourced, and delivered on time
- Elevate the IT team from strong doers into a strategic function, developing talent and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Optimize the Microsoft Business Central environment and lead the broader enterprise systems agenda, improving integration, efficiency, and business value

- Build out the data and analytics infrastructure that powers reporting, business intelligence, and faster, better decisions
- Develop and execute an AI and automation strategy, identifying high-value use cases and a responsible, practical adoption roadmap in collaboration with the AI Steering Committee.
- Establish formal project management discipline so initiatives are scoped, resourced, and delivered with rigor
- Lead IT transaction readiness for a potential PE sale or IPO, systems scalability, data room preparation, audit and compliance readiness, and cybersecurity diligence
- Manage the IT budget with transparency and discipline, making the case for investment in terms the CFO and Leadership Team can evaluate and trust
- Partner closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Legal, and HR teams to ensure technology decisions are grounded in business need
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring the company gets full value from its technology partnerships

Characteristics Needed to be Successful
- You are a business athlete who has a keen understanding of how to utilize and implement technology to execute business strategy and initiatives. You bring the strategic instincts of a business leader and the credibility of someone who has built and run IT organizations. You are as comfortable presenting a technology roadmap to a PE board as you are talking through Business Central optimization with your team. You understand the best technology leaders do not just solve technical problems, they solve business problems with technology.
- You are a builder. You have taken teams stuck in execution mode and helped them develop a strategic vision. You know how to do this without disrupting what works, and that earning trust comes before changing things.
- You are credible under pressure. You have been through a transaction, diligence, or IPO readiness, and you know what it takes to get a technology function ready for that scrutiny. You do not panic when the stakes go up. You get organized.
- You are someone people can count on. Your team knows you are invested in their growth and will be straight with them. Your peers on the Leadership Team know you will follow through on what you commit to. The CFO knows that when you ask for investment, you have connected it to a business outcome.
