Lead the regional technical sales organization through ongoing structural and process changes, ensuring effective communication, smooth transitions, and strong alignment with Central Sales and other Business Units
Translate the Separation Technologies Business Unit’s global strategy into regional strategies and execution by deploying portfolio priorities, innovation focus areas, and customer-centric initiatives across APAC
Identify emerging workflows, whitespace opportunities, and new-logo business opportunities to drive early-stage technical and commercial hunting and opportunity creation while ensuring clear adherence to Central Sales coverage boundaries
Drive consistent, high-quality technical validation activities, including demonstrations, trials, evaluations, and proofs of value, to increase adoption, accelerate conversion, and improve technical win rates
Partner with Central Sales to feed and develop the regional sales pipeline by leading opportunity qualification, pipeline progression, forecasting rigor, and documentation of technical activities to support revenue growth and market share expansion
Capture and communicate structured customer needs, voice-of-customer insights, competitive intelligence, and workflow trends to influence portfolio decisions, product enhancements, and regional technical enablement strategies
Provide technical governance and guidance on solution feasibility, technical scoping, compliance considerations, and contract-related technical requirements in collaboration with Central Sales, Business Unit stakeholders, and Legal teams
Lead and develop a high-performing regional technical sales team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and customer-focused execution across the region
What Will Convince Us
Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related discipline
At least 10 years of experience in technical sales, applications, or commercial leadership within the Life Sciences industry, including influencing complex commercial cycles in a matrix organization
Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities through a strong hunter mindset
Strong technical selling expertise, including demonstrations, trials, evaluations, workflow consulting, and application support across complex customer environments
Proven ability to identify emerging workflows, new technical use cases, and whitespace opportunities that support technology-driven business development
Strong market-scanning, opportunity-shaping, and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate customer and market insights into actionable Separation Technologies Business Unit recommendations
Proven experience leading teams through organizational and process transformation initiatives
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills across commercial, technical, and Business Unit function
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior-level internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated proficiency in data-driven sales leadership, including CRM discipline, pipeline analytics, forecasting accuracy, and KPI management
Willingness to travel more than 50% throughout the APAC region to engage with customers and support business growth
