- Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at increasing cash and trade operating transactions flows, between the Greater China-ASEAN corridor within the MNC/POE/SOE segment.
- Market Expertise: Ability to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics to facilitate strategic planning.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture high-level relationship with key stakeholders in target sectors. Understand their business needs and provide solutions that enhance operational stickiness and client satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Global/ Local Account Manager, Product, Operations, Risk, Global Markets, to deliver innovative and comprehensive solutions which meets client needs.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales performance and to improve accountability. Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management to track portfolio performance against sector strategy.
- Regionalization: Leverage the bank’s regional footprint and strengths in core markets to entrench key client relationship across the region.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
- Sales Leadership: Lead, manage and nurture a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Set sales targets, track performance, and provide coaching and development to team members.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CTP) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in transaction banking sales or corporate banking, with a proven track record in driving growth of transactional activity and balances.
- Strong knowledge of the ASEAN banking landscape, in relation to MNC/SOE/POE
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a collaborative environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
