As a Classroom Aide, you'll be an important part of a Head Start classroom, helping create a warm, safe and engaging environment where young children can play, explore, learn and grow.
You'll work alongside experienced early childhood professionals while building your own skills and experience. Every day brings opportunities to encourage a child, celebrate a milestone, lend a helping hand and be part of something that truly matters.
What You'll Do- Build positive, caring relationships with young children and families.
- Engage children in play, learning activities and everyday classroom experiences.
- Help create a safe, welcoming classroom where children feel comfortable exploring and trying new things.
- Support teachers with classroom activities, routines and transitions.
- Help maintain an attractive, organized and engaging learning environment.
- Encourage children's social, emotional, creative and developmental growth.
- Work as part of a supportive classroom team.
- Follow all applicable childcare regulations and Head Start requirements.
You may be a great fit if you:

- Have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
- Meet the basic requirements of Ohio's child care regulatory agency.
Education Requirement: High School Diploma/GED
Location: Head Start classrooms throughout Clermont County
Hours: You'll need to be available between 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Pay: $15.35/hour

Skills Required

What We Do
Child Focus, Inc. is a Cincinnati-based nonprofit delivering early childhood education and behavioral health services, including Head Start, day treatment, outpatient therapy, crisis intervention and foster care. The organization partners with schools, courts and community agencies to provide trauma-informed care, telehealth and family support programs, serving over 20,000 children, families and adults annually to improve wellbeing and school readiness.
