Early Head Start and Head Start Substitute Classroom Assistant
Child Focus: Location will vary between all Clermont County Child Focus locations
Hours: Shifts will vary between 7am-5:30pm. This shift has no guaranteed hours, it is an on-call, as needed basis.
Hourly Rate: $15.35/hour
Preferred candidates will:
- Relate positively with young children and families
- Be passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well as a safe environment for young children
- Work cooperatively with other team members
- Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and grow.
- Meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
- Have a drivers license and reliable transportation
Child Focus is seeking dedicated early childhood professionals to serve as Substitute Teacher's.
Duties include set up and maintenance of classroom, engaging with children, and fostering learning and growth.

Child Focus, Inc. is a Cincinnati-based nonprofit delivering early childhood education and behavioral health services, including Head Start, day treatment, outpatient therapy, crisis intervention and foster care. The organization partners with schools, courts and community agencies to provide trauma-informed care, telehealth and family support programs, serving over 20,000 children, families and adults annually to improve wellbeing and school readiness.
