What You Can Expect

  • Develop and execute an innovative social media strategy aligned with the company's overarching goals and brand identity
  • Create engaging and compelling content across various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key influencers, partners, and industry leaders to broaden the company's social media reach and enhance engagement
  • Monitor social media trends, industry updates, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for enhancement and innovation

  • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for employees on social media best practices and guidelines
  • Develop and oversee the employee brand advocacy program to amplify company messaging and engagement
  • Analyze and interpret social media performance metrics, delivering insights and actionable recommendations for optimization
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging social media platforms and tools, recommending their integration into the company’s strategy as appropriate
  • Manage the social media budget effectively, ensuring maximum return on investment for paid campaigns promotions
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and guidelines across all social media activities

What We're Looking For

Marvell is looking for a skilled and driven professional to join our team as the Head of Social Media. In this critical role, you will spearhead the development and execution of our global social media strategy, instrumental in fostering community growth and driving measurable outcomes in customer engagement and brand awareness. We seek someone with a deep expertise in social media best practices, and outstanding leadership, communication, and influencing skills. This role reports to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing and is based in Santa Clara, CA.

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related area is essential
  • 8 or more years of social media experience with the creativity to develop a unique content strategy and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Excellent storytelling and writing skills
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Proven experience building, growing and managing external agencies and internal teams
  • Ability to solve problems and identify opportunities using data and analytics, market research and strategic frameworks

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

102,620 - 153,700, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model in which you will be able to split time between working from home and on-site in a Marvell office.
