This role is responsible for ensuring the organization’s information systems and data handling practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive compliance framework aligned with cybersecurity standards and risk management strategies
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the organization’s information security compliance strategy.
- Liaise with Legal, IT, HR, and external auditors to ensure cohesive compliance efforts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries and audits.
- Oversee compliance remediation and track corrective actions.
- Monitor and implement RBI advisories, circulars, and cybersecurity notifications.
- Coordinate DAKSH portal submissions report cybersecurity incidents, compliance status, and audit findings accurately and on time.
- Liaise with RBI officials during inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews.
- Maintain compliance documentation and evidence for RBI scrutiny.
- Lead organization-wide training on security compliance and data protection.
- Promote a culture of security awareness and accountability.
- Collaborate with security operations to manage incidents and breaches.
M.Tech/B.Tech Or Equivalent Bachelors Degree
Min Experience: 15 years
Max Experience: 25 years
Skills Required
- M.Tech/B.Tech or equivalent bachelor's degree
- 15-25 years of experience in information security compliance or related field
- Experience with RBI regulatory compliance, advisories, and inspections
- Experience submitting reports via the DAKSH portal and managing regulatory submissions
- Experience liaising with legal, HR, external auditors, and regulators
