Sales Leader responsible for driving commercial strategy and sales performance in Thailand, reporting to the Country General Manager. Accountable for achieving sales targets across import/export volumes, market share, value-added services, digital solutions, inland logistics, and customer segments. Leads a high-performing, customer-focused sales team, ensuring delivery of quality commitments, KPI achievement, and sustainable business growth while creating value for both customers and the organization.
Responsibilities- Holds responsibility for the Thailand Sales performance across all Segmented Verticals / Vertical Cluster as defined in the Sales Process.
- Coaches, motivates, up skills and guide the Sales organization to achieve set targets.
- Holds reasonable number of own customers.
- Actively works with stakeholders globally to ensure robust Push-Pull activities to safe guard performance.
- Drives Sales Visits execution and performance in line with the agreed targets.
- Sets targets for pipeline and opportunities for the team and actively driving the execution.
- Conduct regular joint meetings with relevant stakeholders including but not limited to Customer Service, Business Administration, Operations.
- Regularly perform reviews of customer portfolios jointly with Sales Managers / Executives ensuring an adequate coverage of both CIF / FOB customers.
- Ensures customer tenders are being handled in line with company policies.
- Supports Steering team and Country General Manager with Sales budgeting & planning.
- Provides feedback as and when obtained voluntarily from customers and in line with the established process on dynamics in the market to relevant stakeholders.
- Engages in Trade Management discussions on relevant matters.
- Attends relevant weekly performance calls.
- Responsible for the customer satisfaction and seeks solutions to customer escalations in line with established processes.
- Ensures self and team upholds the highest ethical standards in line with the Code of Ethics.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
8–12 years in sales, including 3–5 years in leadership roles.
Strong sales strategy, forecasting, and pipeline management.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
Data-driven decision-making and market analytical skills.
Familiarity with digital and multi-channel sales.
Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking.
Strong business acumen and results orientation.
Proficiency in Excel and sales analytics tools.
Fluent in English.
