THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Head of Sales to lead the expansion of Getnet Platforms into the open market.
This role will be responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy, building a scalable sales organization, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across Europe, LATAM and America.
The successful candidate will combine deep expertise in payments and financial technology with a proven track record of selling complex SaaS and platform solutions to enterprise clients.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Commercial Strategy & Growth
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for Getnet Platforms’ SaaS and payment infrastructure solutions.
- Build and scale the open-market sales motion.
- Develop and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring sustainable growth and achievement of revenue targets.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and strategic partnerships to accelerate expansion.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and long-term account growth.
Enterprise Sales Leadership
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing.
- Understanding of decision-making hierarchies in key financial services industry, combined with the ability to connect with key counterparts where relationships become an entry need to sales
- Build executive-level relationships with banks, PSPs, fintechs, embedded finance providers, and regulated financial institutions.
- Develop value propositions tailored to different customer segments and market needs.
- Create scalable sales methodologies, processes, and performance frameworks.
Ecosystem & Partnerships
- Establish strategic alliances with technology providers, payment networks, consulting firms, and industry partners.
- Represent Getnet Platforms at industry events, conferences, and executive forums.
- Position Getnet Platforms as a leading provider of payment technology infrastructure.
Leadership
- Build, coach, and lead a high-performing international sales organization.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, Marketing, Strategy, and Operations teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and commercial excellence.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
- 12+ years of experience in senior commercial leadership roles within payments, fintech, banking technology, SaaS, or platform businesses.
- Proven experience building and scaling new revenue streams, business units, or open-market commercial organizations.
- Demonstrated success selling complex B2B SaaS, platform, infrastructure, or mission-critical technology solutions.
- Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets and managing multi-million-euro sales pipelines.
- Experience operating across multiple European markets and international environments.
Industry Expertise
- Deep understanding of the payment’s ecosystem, including account-to-account payments, card issuing and processing, payment acceptance, payment orchestration, and related infrastructure.
- Knowledge of payment schemes, regulatory frameworks, and emerging payment technologies.
- Experience working with banks, PSPs, fintechs, embedded finance providers, or regulated financial institutions.
Leadership Capabilities
- Ability to understand evolving product capabilities and match them autonomously against leads and opportunities, committing on needs not yet ready but feasible and declining on needs where delivery would be unlikely.
- Ability to understand the big picture of a financial services institution needs on payments (core systems, onboarding, risk, channels, fraud) in relation to the elements that will be part of the sales portfolio.
