YOUR MISSION

At Glovo, you’ll have the job of your life while working together towards our shared vision to build the largest marketplace in your city to give you access to anything within minutes.  Q-Commerce covers Glovo’s multi-category businesses, delivering to customers anything from groceries to electronics to flowers to medicine.  As the Head of Q-Commerce, you will be driving the strategy and execution of the Q-Commerce business, including developing strong relationships with our partners, growing our darkstore business, and hiring and retaining a strong team in the local country.

THE JOURNEY

• Be the owner of Q-Commerce P&Ls (Groceries, retail & darkstore business units) 
• Define the medium and long-term strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets for the country
• Build and maintain relationships with the top retail & grocery partners in the country
• Lead the commercial team to onboard new partners on our platform and the account management team to make active partners grow
• Establish a strong working partnerships with our partners grounded on sustainable economics for both parties, renegotiating contracts where necessary
• Grow our darkstore network in a sustainable way
• Improve operational efficiency of our partners and our darkstores by making sure we always deliver the best service to our customers.
• Get feedback from our partners and work with your counterparts to translate it into product, marketing and operations improvement

• 6+ years of experience in fast-paced environments (FMCG, retail, startups, top consulting firms, top internet firms)
• Experience in owning a full P&L
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across different departments
• Be driven to build a business from scratch, you have a natural bias for action, always pushing for things to happen, objective and deadline oriented
• Ability to hire, manage and retain a top talent team
• Experience in understanding retail business, as well as revenue dynamics and drivers.
• Know how to negotiate and build your way into a super deal with big retail players
• Data-driven mentality: takes decision based on data and makes business judgment when necessary
• Ability to find smart and elegant solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary problems
