Head of Public Relations, Public Affairs and Sustainability (Maternity Cover, 7-month Contract)

• Develop brand key messages with key stakeholders and establish PR strategy and plan to increase company visibility 
• Conduct risk assessment of public sentiment and provide advice to mitigate risk on business strategy and plan
• Establish strategies for damage containment in crisis & issue situations and post-crisis & issue brand recovery
• Understand the competition landscape and stay ahead of any threat to our brand position
• Leverage media relationships to strengthen brand presence 
• Support other departments with PR efforts to achieve strategic goals, growth plans, and new business opportunities
• Lead and support any Corporate communications related initiatives, including but not limited to executive profiling, public speaking, internal communications and CSR and sustainability etc
• Help to interpret, explain, and present the regulatory and political landscape to the management team and other stakeholders in clear terms
• Build a network and relations with the relevant stakeholders and help to advocate, negotiate or defend positions, including in potentially contentious areas
• Engage with local, international or foreign key regulators, officials, or representatives
• Lead sustainability strategy and set framework for the business in shaping a positive corporate image

• Hungry to make a difference 
• University degree in business,PR / communications, journalism or related areas
• At least 10 years of related working experience in the PR related field, candidates with experience from eCommerce industry and public affairs matters would be an advantage 
• An independent and highly motivated fast learner
• Team player with great stakeholder management, you will have the chance to work closely with different departments to support Business and Corporate Strategies
• Great understanding of business and strategic goals 
• Eager to acquire the knowledge of foodpanda’s business background and operations 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
