Working as Head of Project Management, you will lead the delivery project management function for large synchronous machines within the Motion High Power division in Västerås, with clear responsibility for profitable project execution, customer satisfaction and business performance. You are part of the local management team and contribute to the unit’s overall results and strategic direction. 

Your responsibilities 

Your main task will be to manage and develop the project management team. You will coach the team and support them in daily matters, as well as act as escalation point in more complex projects or customer cases. 

In addition, you will have budget responsibility and follow up on key KPIs, with a focus on revenue, cost control, margins and on-time delivery. One of your top priorities in the role is to build and maintain strong customer relationships and ensuring long-term business value for both the customer and ABB. 

Your background 

To thrive in this position, you have a solid understanding project management and enjoy working in close collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders in an international environment. Supporting the team while combining customer focus with a strong business mindset is one of your top priorities. 

You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering and have experience from managing complex delivery projects as well as managerial experience. Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is required.
