• Build and lead Guidde's design organization - set vision, strategy, and priorities for both product and brand design across the company
• Drive end-to-end design for key initiatives - from early product strategy and discovery to polished experiences in customers' hands
• Partner with leadership across functions - work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure design shapes outcomes
• Define and evolve our design system - ensure consistency, scalability, and speed across all surfaces and user touchpoints
• Establish design processes and standards - create rituals that raise quality while keeping execution fast and pragmatic
• Mentor and represent design strategically - grow a team of designers while championing customer voice and design-led thinking at the leadership table

• 10+ years of Product Design experience - with 3-5 years leading design teams in high-growth SaaS or PLG environments
• Portfolio demonstrating strategic leadership - showing complex UX problem-solving and measurable business impact from your work and team
• Design systems expertise - proven track record building and scaling systems while instilling design principles across multiple teams
• Executive communication skills - confident presenting and storytelling to executives, board members, and customers
• Team building and mentoring abilities - experience hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing design talent
• Startup leadership balance - comfortable with hands-on design work and organizational leadership in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
