About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and visionary Head of Product Design to lead and grow our team of talented product designers. As a senior leader, you will shape Fever’s product design vision, guide strategic decisions, and ensure the delivery of intuitive and visually compelling user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to build world-class products that delight users and drive business results.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Strategy:
- Define and communicate the product design vision and strategy aligned with Fever’s goals.
- Set and track OKRs for the design team to align with Fever’s strategic objectives.
- Foster a culture of obsession with problems and users.
- Proactively identify opportunities and improvements for the team's product area.
- Establish best practices and processes to ensure high-quality, consistent design work across the team.
- Drive the development of scalable design systems to ensure consistency and quality across products.
- Team Management:
- Recruit, develop, and retain top design talent.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product designers to achieve their full potential.
- Define competencies and expectations for each role, and create career paths for design team members.
- Conduct regular design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and champion design excellence.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.
- Advocate for design thinking and a user-centered approach across the organization.
- Partner with product and engineering leads to improve processes and ensure successful execution.
- Execution & Delivery:
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, from design-related research and ideation to prototyping and final delivery, while collaborating with the User Research team.
- Ensure designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, scalable across diverse international markets, and aligned with business objectives.
- Demonstrate expertise across the product lifecycle: strategy, research, ideation, design, and implementation.
- Monitor and analyze user feedback and data to continuously improve the user experience.
- Proven experience in product design as an individual contributor, also with solid experience in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to work, operate, and collaborate effectively in an English-speaking environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing and shipping impactful digital products.
- Lead and scale design teams in fast-paced, agile environments while collaborating closely with product and engineering.
- Apply deep UX/UI knowledge, user research, and data-driven design methods to solve complex user problems.
- Communicate design decisions clearly through excellent presentation skills, driving alignment across stakeholders.
- Deliver measurable business results while staying passionate about Fever’s mission and values.
- Experience in the entertainment or events industry.
- Knowledge of motion design and branding.
- Proficiency in Spanish.
