Ready to take your career global?
Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Head of Product, Central Europe to join our ever evolving SMB Product team within Global Payments and help shape the future of global commerce.
This senior leadership role is accountable for defining and delivering the Central Europe SMB solutions strategy across Joint Venture partnerships. You will work through influence across a complex partner ecosystem, aligning Global Payments, JV partners, EU market leadership, and global product and technology teams around clear priorities, funded roadmaps, and sustainable commercial outcomes.
What you’ll own
- Define and lead the Central Europe SMB solutions strategy across Joint Venture partnerships, translating customer needs, market insights, competitive trends, and platform opportunities into a clear 3 to 5-year product vision that supports sustainable growth across the region.
- Establish and drive strong governance frameworks across Global Payments and JV partners, ensuring alignment on product priorities, investment decisions, roadmap execution, funding models, and expected business outcomes.
- Own the product roadmap and prioritisation process, balancing strategic objectives, commercial impact, customer value, technology capacity, and partner-specific requirements to maximise overall portfolio performance.
- Build alignment across product, technology, commercial, and executive stakeholders, proactively managing dependencies, resolving competing priorities, and influencing decisions in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Ensure product initiatives deliver measurable business impact by connecting delivery outcomes to revenue growth, market expansion, customer success, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation for both Global Payments and JV partners.
What you’ll bring
- 15+ years of product leadership experience delivering end-to-end product strategy, development, and lifecycle management within payments, fintech, banking, software platforms, commerce technology, or similarly complex industries, with a strong track record of translating market opportunities into scalable product solutions.
- Proven ability to lead through influence in complex, matrixed, and multi-entity environments, aligning product, technology, commercial, and executive stakeholders around shared objectives and driving outcomes without direct authority.
- Extensive experience in product governance, roadmap prioritisation, and portfolio management, including balancing strategic objectives, managing cross-functional dependencies, navigating investment trade-offs, and ensuring successful execution across multiple businesses, markets, or partners.
- Strong commercial acumen and partnership leadership, with experience developing business cases, connecting product investments to revenue outcomes, managing portfolio performance, and successfully collaborating with Joint Ventures, strategic partners, or other complex stakeholder ecosystems.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, combined with a people-first, high-accountability mindset, enabling the development of trusted relationships, effective decision-making, and successful collaboration across countries, cultures, and organisational boundaries.
It’s a bonus if you have
- Experience working within Joint Ventures, strategic partnerships, or other multi-entity environments, with an understanding of complex governance structures, funding models, and stakeholder management requirements.
- Strong knowledge of payment ecosystems, fintech, banking, commerce technology, or SMB-focused solutions, with the ability to connect market opportunities to product strategy and execution.
- Experience operating across multiple countries and markets, balancing local customer and partner requirements with broader regional or global product objectives.
- Familiarity with API-first platforms, target architecture models, platform modernisation initiatives, and scalable product delivery approaches that support long-term business growth.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a proven ability to align diverse executive stakeholders, navigate competing priorities, and drive outcomes without direct authority.
