About this opportunity
As Head of Presales - Service Line Build , you will lead the presales strategy and capability for the Service Line Build domain across Market Area. The role focuses on driving Network Roll-Out (NRO) and domain-led growth while ensuring strong commercial discipline and margin protection. You will lead the Presales function responsible for NRO services costing, commercial modelling and risk management for large and complex RFPs across multiple Customer Units, strengthening Ericsson's position as a trusted strategic partner.
What you will do
- Lead and develop the presales team (~ 10 members), working closely with senior SMEs and multiple Customer Units (CUs).
- Drive presales costing excellence and margin protection across RFPs, ensuring alignment with Scope of Work, responsibility Matrices & resource strategy while proactively managing scope risks.
- Identify structurally loss-making areas within NRO Services and drive corrective actions, including strategic de-scoping or operational alignment with CUs to improve profitability.
- Partner with CU NEO/Build Heads, KAMs to shape customer strategy, identify and qualify strategic opportunities and provide domain leadership, including acting as ACR/CSR where required.
- Strengthen presales governance by embedding best practices, accelerating bid turnaround times and enhancing the quality and competitiveness of proposals across the region.
- Deliver measurable outcomes including stronger NS/UM across CUs, improved pipeline and win rates and deeper/ strategic engagement with SEA accounts.
- Implement Service Area Network strategy for Network Deployment including rolling out global programs.

- Domain expertise in Service Area Networks, NRO and telecom services costing for large-scale RFPs.
- Proven leadership experience managing presales teams and senior SMEs in a complex, matrixed and multi-CU environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in services costing, margin management and risk mitigation.
- Ability to influence customer strategy and build trusted relationships with stakeholders (CU NEO/ Build heads) while collaborating closely with KAMs and delivery teams.
- Track record of driving business growth and improving bid win rates in competitive and complex deal environments.
- Experience with commercial frameworks and portfolio-led sales approaches.
- Familiarity with presales automation, digital tooling and advanced Target Operating Models.
- Ability to operate effectively across diverse markets, geographies and cultures within Market Area.
