Job Description

As the key point of contact between our marketing team and our suppliers, you will quickly and effectively understand the needs and priorities of the suppliers you are interacting with and communicate clearly how Winning’s marketing activities are benefiting them, whilst maximising internal relationships and opportunities. You will be dealing predominantly with CMO’s, account manager and marketing heads, and to be successful you will be able to effectively understand each of these audiences, their objectives and how to best communicate.

  • Develop a strong understanding of suppliers' businesses and tailor services to their objectives.
  • Create and present marketing proposals and post-campaign analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on project briefs and promotions.
  • Identify and pursue new marketing opportunities with suppliers.
  • Support execution of supplier promotions.
  • Plan sales and marketing strategies with suppliers for Winning Group.
  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Maintain the marketing rate card and enter campaign details into relevant forms.
  • Provide post-campaign reports and negotiate costs with suppliers.
  • Align supplier communication with Winning Group's marketing activities.
  • Meet marketing targets and KPIs.
  • Organise partner activities and represent the PRM team in meetings.
  • Attend industry events and represent associated companies.
  • Ensure precise planning of the marketing calendar, focusing on seasonality and category growth.
  • Achieve annual marketing targets and manage the PCC claims process.

Qualifications

  • Strong account management and business development skills
  • Ability to understand supplier needs quickly
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent rapport building skills
  • Ability to identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals
  • Have a clear understanding of the partner's margin, rebates, over & above support & proforma - and what this means in terms of balancing out rebates
  • Exposure to or knowledge of marketing is advantageous
