About the Role
This role exists to build Aspora's Operations Center of Excellence across Remittances, NRI Banking, and Wealth. We're expanding into new corridors and product lines at speed, and operations cannot become the bottleneck.
You'll own the engine behind multiple product lines: the systems, metrics, automations, and operating rhythm that let Aspora scale globally. That means partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, and Support to make operations faster, more reliable, and more automated.
This isn't a queue-management role. You'll build an AI-first operating model and the people system behind it, reporting directly to the COO.
Location: Bangalore, India. In Office.
What You'll Own
Lead Aspora's Operations function across Remittances, NRI Banking, and Wealth, building a Center of Excellence across geographies.
Own operational performance and compliance accuracy across payments, KYC/RFI workflows, escalations, and partner execution.
Drive down cost per transaction as volume scales, without trading off compliance accuracy or customer trust.
Build AI-first systems that convert manual work into automation, dashboards, internal tools, and auditable controls.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Finance to improve workflows, controls, and customer outcomes.
Build the people operating system for Ops: hiring, coaching, and developing future leaders.
Who You Are
8+ years in operations, fintech, payments, banking, or another high-scale operational environment.
You're an operator-builder. You redesign and scale processes, you don't just run them.
Deeply customer-obsessed: you understand operations directly shape trust and product experience.
Data-driven and hands-on with SQL, dashboards, and operational data to diagnose problems.
First-principles thinker. You move from issue resolution to root-cause fixes and long-term systems.
Hands-on enough to inspect detail, senior enough to build leaders and mechanisms that scale beyond you.

Skills Required
- 8+ years in operations, fintech, payments, banking, or high-scale operational environments
