As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize scalable systems for Aspora's fintech platform, ensuring high performance and reliability in a fast-paced startup environment.

Run intraday liquidity, FX execution, and foreign inward remittance operations end-to-end. Maintain working capital models, prefunding schedules, reconciliations, and exception management to ensure timely settlement and corridor performance. Partner with Head of Treasury and Finance to scale treasury infrastructure across multi-currency, multi-rail corridors.

Partner with a product team to define metrics, build funnels, run rigorous experiments, build propensity and churn models, perform P&L and corridor-level transaction analysis, and create production-grade BI dashboards and instrumentation for fintech products across remittance, banking, and wealth.

Lead and unify product, brand, and marketing design under a single vision. Hire and scale multidisciplinary teams, evolve the design system, set quality standards and operating rhythms, and partner with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Marketing. Split time between leadership (60%) and hands-on product design (40%), ensuring consistent brand integrity across markets and channels.

Create and publish short-form and carousel social content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X. Write captions and scripts, own the monthly social calendar, manage comments/DMs, spot trends for the NRI diaspora, and track weekly performance to produce insight-driven recommendations.

Monitor and run remittance operations across pay-ins, payouts, KYC/RFI, refunds, disputes, reconciliations and partner exceptions. Investigate anomalies using SQL and dashboards, coordinate escalations with internal and external stakeholders, maintain runbooks and controls, and drive automation and AI-assisted improvements to reduce manual work. Support launches and document learnings.

As an Engineering Manager, you'll lead a core product team, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality system delivery while fostering collaboration across functions.

Own end-to-end operational health for a product surface (Remittance, Banking, or Wealth): define and instrument defect metrics, build dashboards, drive partner performance, design SOPs, ship production automation, and use SQL to analyze transaction-level data to reduce defects and manual workflows.

Lead end-to-end product design for Aspora's fintech platform: conduct user research, create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, evolve the design system, mentor designers, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and deliver consistent accessible experiences across mobile and web.

Build and own end-to-end automation frameworks for Android, iOS, web, APIs, and backend services. Design CI/CD-integrated test suites, release validation, contract/schema and non-functional testing, and use observability to detect regressions and drive quality improvements across the payments platform.

Lead the visual identity and execution of Aspora's brand across product and marketing. Design high-performing assets for global audiences, collaborate with Product, Growth and Content, champion creative quality, and evolve design systems for consistent cross-channel experiences.

The Senior Data Platform Engineer will own the design, build, and operation of data infrastructure, manage ETL/ELT pipelines, and enforce data quality standards while collaborating closely with analytics and engineering teams.

Design and build scalable, resilient backend systems and APIs for cross-border payments. Own microservices, database design, fault-tolerant infrastructure, and production reliability at scale while shaping platform architecture.
