Provide enterprise‑level leadership and accountability for the office and designated international markets, including Jersey and Dubai, acting as a steward of Quilter Cheviot International’s (QCI) strategy, culture, risk appetite and reputation across international jurisdictions.
Own and drive the strategic direction, medium‑term business plan and performance outcomes for Jersey and Dubai, agreed with the CEO Europe and International Markets, and subject to oversight, challenge and assurance through the QCI Executive Committee and QCI Board.
Lead the delivery of sustainable, profitable growth across Jersey and Dubai, balancing commercial opportunity with disciplined risk management, regulatory integrity and consistently strong client outcomes.
Act as the senior accountable leader for governance, regulatory integrity and first‑line risk ownership across Jersey and Dubai, ensuring robust controls, clear accountability and high‑quality management information to support effective ExCo and Board oversight.
Set the strategic framework for resource allocation, talent deployment, succession planning and cost discipline, ensuring Jersey and Dubai are resilient, scalable and appropriately structured to support QCI’s long‑term ambitions.
Provide senior oversight and challenge on operational effectiveness and resilience, ensuring systems, processes and infrastructure support regulatory compliance, operational resilience and high‑quality client service, without defaulting into day‑to‑day execution.
Partner closely with the Head of Dubai and senior leadership in Jersey to shape and execute market‑specific strategies, ensuring clarity of accountability between local leadership, the QCI Executive Committee and the QCI Board.
Champion the consistent application of Quilter Cheviot’s propositions, investment philosophy and client service standards across Jersey and Dubai, maintaining coherence, regulatory consistency and brand integrity while allowing for appropriate local market nuance.
Represent QCI at a senior level with regulators, clients, professional intermediaries and external stakeholders across Jersey and Dubai, providing confidence and assurance to the QCI Executive Committee and Board on regulatory relationships and market reputation.
Act as a senior contributor within QCI’s governance framework, including active engagement with the QCI Executive Committee, attendance at Risk Committee and contribution to Board discussions as required, providing strategic insight, challenge and assurance.

Actively coach, mentor and develop senior colleagues across Jersey and Dubai, using judgement, challenge and support to strengthen leadership capability, decision‑making quality and resilience, and to build sustainable succession depth aligned to QCI’s strategic priorities.
Create the conditions for high performance by establishing clear accountability, stretching objectives and disciplined performance management, ensuring leaders are empowered, held to account and supported to deliver consistently strong outcomes.
Build and sustain high‑performing leadership teams through effective succession planning, targeted capability development and proactive talent management, reducing key‑person risk and strengthening the long‑term leadership pipeline across international markets.

About YouExperience: Significant experience in the financial services or wealth management industry, with a proven track record in a similar senior, supervisory, or management role. A proven track record of driving business growth through client acquisition, referrals, and delivery against ambitious targets.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrable success as an effective leader of diverse teams, with strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
Financial Acumen: Strong business acumen and an in-depth understanding of investment management, investment products, market trends, and P&L management.
Qualifications: Advanced qualifications such as the Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification (CISI Level 7 Diploma), CFA essential
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of relevant regulatory and legal frameworks

Skills Required
- Significant experience in financial services or wealth management in a senior supervisory/management role
- Proven track record of driving business growth, client acquisition and delivery against targets
- Demonstrable senior leadership, coaching, mentoring and people development experience
- Strong business and financial acumen including investment management, investment products, market trends and P&L management
- CFA qualification
- Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification (CISI Level 7 Diploma)
- Deep understanding of relevant regulatory and legal frameworks (governance, SMCR familiarity)
