We are the leading provider of software in healthcare. With our vision “No one should suffer or die just because, at some point or in some place, medical information is missing”, we are shaping a digital healthcare world in which all relevant information is available anytime, anywhere.
As Head of Marketing Germany (f/m/d) you act as the strategic link between the global marketing organization and the local execution in the German Commercial Areas. You are responsible for the positioning of the CGM brand in the German market, steering PR and communications activities, key trade fairs, and the localization of global marketing initiatives – always with a focus on growth, brand consistency, and the use of modern marketing automation and AI.
Your contribution
- Develop and implement the marketing strategy for Germany based on the global marketing blueprint – including budget planning and management (in close collaboration with Management and Global Marketing).
- Lead and build the Germany Marketing Team (PR & Communications, Events & Trade Fairs, Content Localization / Digital) and closely coordinate marketing stakeholders across the German Commercial Areas.
- Take ownership of PR & Communications in Germany: media relations, thought leadership, positioning of the executive leadership, in particular in close collaboration with Thorsten Herrmann.
- Strategically and operationally manage trade fairs and major events (e.g. DMEA, EXPOPHARM), including joint planning with the Commercial Areas, event logistics and brand presence.
- Ensure consistent brand and campaign localization: adaptation of global campaigns, quality and CI compliance across all channels and target groups.
- Drive AI and marketing automation: use and further develop tools for campaign management, lead nurturing and performance measurement (including close alignment with Sales to support the top of the funnel).
Your profile
- 7–10+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, HealthTech or Enterprise Software, with a strong track record in brand building and demand generation.
- Excellent academic background, preferably from a leading university, ideally in Business Administration, Marketing or Business Informatics. A PhD is a plus.
- Solid experience in PR & Communications, event and trade fair management (especially leading healthcare trade fairs) as well as in localizing global brand and campaign concepts.
- Strong stakeholder management skills: confident collaboration with the global CMO (solid line), the Country CEO Germany (dotted line), and marketing and sales stakeholders across multiple Commercial Areas.
- Experience in coordinating complex marketing structures (e.g. multiple Commercial Areas / PCUs) and in working with a wide range of internal and external partners.
- Proficient user of marketing automation tools and highly comfortable with AI-supported marketing solutions and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken, a confident executive presence, a structured way of working, and a genuine desire to actively drive change.
