HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Managing Director, Marketing will lead all aspects of the marketing function, including marketing strategy, product positioning, brand management, communications, and marketing operations. They will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall marketing strategy and vision for the organization. They will improve the effectiveness of client growth, engagement, retention, and loyalty initiatives to drive revenue and exceed growth objectives. This key leadership role will involve managing and optimizing cross-functional teams, fostering creativity, and driving innovative marketing strategies to elevate our brand. This position will report to the President of Inspira.
The ideal candidate is a transformational and visionary senior leader who strives for excellence and is always raising the game of the Marketing organization. The successful candidate has a proven track record of driving revenue growth and scaling organizations successfully. This individual should have strong people leadership skills, a strategic partnership mindset, and set the right vision for our Marketing team and product portfolio. This leader should embody Inspira's culture and values, collaborating across the enterprise. They must be able to engage in both strategic and tactical work across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
    • Drive initiatives to enhance brand positioning, market share, and client engagement.
    • Collaborate with executive and senior leadership to align marketing strategies with overall business strategy.
    • Evaluate new advertising, agency, and marketing technology partners.
    • Oversee quarterly and annual strategic marketing planning to ensure effective prioritization.
    • Manage departmental budget and resources, as well as the day-to-day activities of multiple strategy teams.
    • Serve as the SME from marketing on all integrations and acquisition projects.


Team Management:

    • Provide leadership and direction to the entire marketing team as well as direct teams, which include marketing strategy, and brand and communications, and marketing operations.
    • Foster a collaborative, forward-thinking, and results-driven culture within the marketing department and beyond.
    • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and provide professional development opportunities.


Brand and Communications:

    • Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy that resonates with the target audience.
    • Manage PR activities, ensuring positive media coverage and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets.
    • Oversee internal communications strategies to enhance employee engagement and alignment with company values.


Marketing Operations

  • Day-to-day leadership of media and agency partners.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to implement innovating marketing solutions.
  • Establish a marketing operating model, using technology and data, to optimize for growth, scale, and flexibility, supporting multiple business units and products, channel partners (brokers, TPAs, recordkeepers, insurance companies, and others), direct clients, and account holders.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
  • Develop resourcing and capacity and project management models to help us prioritize investments and resources to drive the marketing transformation program forward.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to make data-driven decisions.
  • Enhance platforms to support efficient and scalable processes for reporting and analytics, asset management, and testing.


Education & Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience across all areas of marketing.
  • Master's degree in marketing, business, analytics, or MBA.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience in HealthcareTech, health services industry required.
  • Experience in B2B2C marketing preferred, B2B marketing experience required.

  • Proven experience as a marketing senior leader who builds strong teams and propels organizations' revenue growth forward.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Effective storyteller with senior leadership and executive audiences, contextualizing the problem statements, the vision, the work, and influencing/shaping the thinking of others at senior level and above.
  • Excellent leadership, team management skills, and communication skills with the ability to influence internally and externally to creative opportunities for the company
  • Ability to be viewed as a collaborative and influential leader.
  • Creative and data driven mindset to ensure efforts are bold, relevant and reach desired audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and leverage data for decision-making.
  • Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced sales-led organization.

  • Expertise in marketing technology, including full Adobe suite, Salesforce, account-based marketing, SEO, SEM, and more.
